Episode Review: The Big Bang Theory

What I Liked:
Sheldon and Penny at the grocery store
"Touching costs extra"
glow in the dark tampons
Sheldon taking note of Penny's cycle
The egg experiemnt
magic animals
Laurie Metcalf half the time

What I Didn't Like:
Laurie Metcalf he other half of the time
.... that's about it

Random Thought:
How far up is that tampon that it needs to glow in the dark?

Overall:
I sat and watched this with my brothers and their friend and I've gotta say, sometimes the humor doesn't cross over to non-geeky crowds. Sheldon and Penny need more scenes together, i was sad they didn't spend more time bugging each other. Laurie Metcalf as Sheldon's mom was inspired but every so often the jokes fell a bit flat, still her devout christianity provided plenty of laughs. Overall it was good to see Sheldon and Penny interact alone, and I hope to see way more of it in the future.

I liked this episode, albeit not as much as the previous ones. I really enjoy Penny and Sheldon interacting (if you haven't watched Bones yet, it's alot like watching Zack and Booth interact... geek meets grunt). I did miss having the rest of the gang around.

It's like when I tried to explain Warcraft to my sister this weekend... She gave me the exact same look as Penny did in the episode. Non-geeks just don't get it. ;)
